FOODS THAT MAKE YOU YOUNG...MY FOODS!

I wanna share to you my food every day. These are some of the foods that I manage to have on my plate and on the table every day. In fact, today, I just all these. I haven't eaten rice yet. I don't feel hungry. I'm not hungry. I don;t know the reasons why. Even if I have been searching and reading a lot, I still feel that there's ''MAGIC'' in all these foods. Check them out for yourselves.
Green Tea

"Green tea is believed to help regulate blood pressure, lowers blood sugar, boosts the immune system, and lowers cholesterol. Studies have even shown that green tea can be effective at preventing cancer. That's as close to the elixir of life as you can get."

" Leafy greens: Whilst eating spinach won't be enough to turn you into Popeye, it's certainly excellent for boosting the body's immunity from illness. Spinach and other leafy foods like kale and collard are high in folate which is vital in preventing DNA and blood vessel damage. If you can maintain a healthy circulatory system you are reducing your risk of developing conditions such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, kidney disease and dementia. "

Cocoa Beans Help Your Heart
Cocoa is good for the heart. This is something I know my mom, an alternative medicine doctor, has told me many times, but I never asked why, what was behind that. Here’s the scoop:
“Chocolate and cocoa derive their health benefits from flavonoids which are plant pigments capable of acting as antioxidants to counteract some of the cellular damage that can lead to chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease,” Natural Health Ezine writes. “Cocoa powder has also been shown to lower blood pressure and improve blood flow in humans.”

"Yogurt:  'Good' bacteria is great for regulating the immune system, by increasing its antibodies and preventing the rise of pathogenic organisms like salmonella and E.coli. Many yoghurts include a high volume of 'good' bacteria that help maintain gut healthy and diminish the incidence of age-related intestinal illness. Yogurt is also rich in calcium, which can help stave off osteoporosis.

"Soy products: Like fish, soy products such as tofu are also a great alternative source of protein than red meat or even dairy, since they have little or no saturated fat. A diet that's low in saturated fat will reduce your risk of developing heart disease and lower blood pressure. As a staple part of the Japanese diet, soy products are great at helping keep down cholesterol and are a useful addition to a healthy diet."

"Red wine: A glass of red wine adds up a good dose of anti-aging elements including polyphenol antioxidants, minerals, and resveratrol. Resveratrol which helps to increase 'good cholesterol' levels in the body and prevents blood clotting and a healthy circulatory system. Resveratrol found in red wine may also be beneficial for women during the menopause by reducing the risk for conditions for example breast cancer and osteoporosis that result from reduced oestrogen levels. Like the chocolate, it's not carte blanche to guzzle as much as you want; we suggest a standard glass every other day is a good approach. "

" Water: Few people — whether active or not — drink sufficient water, and side effects of even slight dehydration include headaches, fatigue and low concentration levels. Yet increasing fluid intake can increase energy levels, aid digestion, give skin a boost and help boost your anti-aging armoury. Concentrate on drinking little and often throughout the day, being extra vigilant after exercise or when you've been confined in a dry, overheated or air-conditioned environment."

" Water is also very important for removing toxins from the human body.  The body has four major ways of removing toxins which are:

Bowels
Urination
Perspiration
Processing of toxins by the liver

"  The Importance of Water To Human Life and to the Operation of the Human Body:

  • Next to air (oxygen), water is the most essential element to human life; the body usually cannot survive longer than several days without water (a maximum of 1 week).
  • Water is essential to the functioning of every single cell and organ system in the human body.
  • Water makes up greater than 2/3 of the weight of the human body; the brain is 75% water, blood is 83% water, bones are 22% water, muscles are 75% water, and the lungs are 90% water.
  • Water is essential for the efficient elimination of waste products through the kidneys.
  • Water regulates body temperature (through perspiration).
  • Water serves a lubricant; water forms the fluids surrounding joints and bones, providing cushioning for the joints.
  • Water prevents and alleviates constipation (by moving food through the intestines and eliminating waste products).
  • Water helps the body to absorb nutrients in the intestines.
  • Water plays a role in regulating metabolism.
  • Water forms the base for saliva (necessary for consuming and digesting food).
  • Water carries nutrients and oxygen to all cells in the body and facilitates all of the chemical processes which occur in the body.
  • Water plays a role in the prevention of disease. Drinking adequate amounts of water can reduce the risk of colon and bladder cancer significantly, and some studies have suggested that water may also decrease the risk of breast cancer."

I have been drinking a specialized water.
